What is the difference between diamond microdermabrasion and the blackhead suction function?
Diamond microdermabrasion uses the abrasive diamond-tipped head to physically exfoliate the skin surface — removing dead cells and smoothing texture. The blackhead suction tips use vacuum pressure to draw sebum plugs and debris out of pores without abrasion. They work differently and are used sequentially, not interchangeably.
How strong is the suction?
Maximum suction is 60 KPa (>-450 mmHg). The suction is stepless — you can adjust it continuously from low to maximum by rotating the dial clockwise, so you are not limited to fixed settings. Start low and increase as needed for your skin type.
Do I need to replace the filter sponge every time?
Yes. The filter sponge catches extracted debris inside the handle. A saturated or wet sponge can cause liquid to be drawn into the air pump, which damages the machine. Replace it after each use.
What do I put in the spray bottle?
Distilled or purified water is the standard fill. You can also use an alcohol-free toner. Do not use thick serums or oils — the spray mechanism requires thin, water-based liquids to function properly.
Can I use this on sensitive skin?
Yes, with the suction set to low and using the finer diamond tips. Start with one pass per area and observe how your skin responds. Avoid using the machine more than once per week on sensitive skin until you have established your tolerance.
